As an up-coming TV Presenter the way you look, the way you dress and the way you speak, all have a dramatic impact on how people feel about you. It’s important to understand who you are and how you’re perceived by an audience and this is one of the many surprises you’ll encounter during this course. If you’re into Lifestyle\Infotainment, News\Current Affairs, Corporate Video, Commercials this course is for you.

Our introductory TV Presenter course will provide you with both skills and confidence required to be an on-camera presenter. We focus on bringing out and developing your natural screen personality and work on your physical performance, your voice and on your camera to eye contact.
A tailor made showreel like those that have helped many students to attend auditions and to win the job on offer, is included as part of this course. ‘Present with total confidence’ is taught by network presenters and recognized trainers who have launched the careers of many newcomers to the TV industry.

Advanced TV Presenter Workshop
DURATION: 1 day workshop
COURSE CODE: R2R 3218

Whether broadcasting live or pre-recorded, reading from autocue or conducting lifestyle interviews you will learn how to excel in front of the camera. This workshop is designed to give the right mix of skills and confidence required to be an accomplished on-camera presenter. While focusing on the development of your natural screen personality we polish and refine your presenting skills while making sure you are totally comfortable with just ‘being’ in front of the camera.

While working on your own personal presenting style, we will pay particular attention to vocal delivery, physical performance and camera-eye contact. The workshop covers voice training, script writing, studio craft and appearance. All participants will leave with a professional edited ‘showreel’ of their on-camera exercises.

Who should attend?
This is a workshops for media professionals who already have presenting/reporting experience on television or radio and will appeal to self-confident personalities who have a passion for presenting. The workshop is also suitable for those wishing to take their skills to the next level after completing the Real to Reel Introductory TV Presenter Workshop.

  • The skills of how to read the autocue (tele-prompter).
  • Tips on appearance and grooming from a professional TV make-up artist.
  • How to write scripts for yourself as a presenter.

  • Practice in ‘live’ television simulation by performing ’live crosses’.
  • Work with a professional cameraman to produce your own individually crafted professional showreel
