Media Skills
DURATION: 1 or 2 day workshop
COURSE CODE: R2R 3210

Dealing with the media is now a reality of business communication. The Real to Reel ‘Media Skills’ course explains how and why the media operate the way they do, and highlights some of the differences between the various outlets – television, radio, print and internet. We look at journalists - who they are, how they see their role, what they do, and how to handle them.

With years of first- hand experience, our team of industry professionals uses video examples and video role-plays to put you through your paces. We help craft your messages and make certain you’re comfortable and adept at getting them out, regardless. It doesn’t matter whether you (or your company) wants to engage with media pro-actively or re-actively, we offer hands- on practice and guidance that will put you firmly in the driver’s seat every time.

This course is particularly useful for those who have a role to play in processing direct requests from the media during crisis situations.
