Our September school holiday workshops are the perfect time to have fun exploring essential elements of acting/auditioning for the camera. Whether you have aspirations to be the next 'Big Thing' in movies, would like to earn some extra pocket money from appearing in a television commercial or you just want to develop better acting skills, then our holiday workshop is a wonderful opportunity.

In our friendly and professional atmosphere, with expert tuition of experienced tutors, you'll have loads of fun, learn new acting and scene techniques, lots of improvisation exercises and boost your confidence by performing in front of camera. You'll quickly develop a performance which is totally believable on screen.

Included in the workshops is an opportunity to be seen and directed by Film Director, Performing Arts Teacher & Actor Robyn Hughan. Participants will be put on file at Casting Couch for future castings. Footage is to be viewed by Michelle Quin, director of Casting Couch Consultancy.

'Fun with Improvisation' - 16 years +
DURATION: 1 Day Workshop
COURSE CODE: R2R 3223

Suitable for those who want to stretch their imagination and work freely in front of a camera or on stage. Pick up the skills you'll need to draw on when improvisation is the name of the game. Have fun and emerge well equipped to handle whatever is thrown at you.

If you've ever wondered how you'd go if you were called on to fly by the seat of your pants in a television show like Thank God You're Here or Hey Hey its Saturday, think no more. Put yourself to the test and join others to learn the techniques involved in improvised drama based on a range of characters and scenarios.

In these fast-paced workshops you will team with actors who want to do more than simply learn lines – and you'll find by doing so that you stand miles out from the competition.

Develop your quick-wittedness and learn to wing it for improvised performance. This is a rare opportunity to work with a highly experienced mentoring actor and Thank God You're Here's Casting Director who will lead you through a series of exercises that will foster teamwork and open you up to new possibilities, resulting in performances that you never thought possible.
