Real to Reel Studios is a well established state of the art training studio based in Melbourne, Australia. Headed by current leaders in the fields of acting, casting, television, radio, modeling and voice production, Real to Reel offers innovative and practical courses in a range of disciplines.

Each course is designed to give students ‘hands-on’ skills and practical knowledge to maximize the chances of getting that all important ‘foot in the door’. The courses are designed by Casting Director Michelle Quin and Journalist/Presenter/Producer Sandy Kaye who between them have over forty years industry experience. Michelle currently runs busy casting consultancy, ‘Casting Couch’ which casts for film and television both in Australia and abroad. She has worked with and auditioned thousands of actors and hopefuls and has placed many well known faces over the years including Radha Mitchell, Lisa McCune, Livinia Nixon and Sam Johnson.

Michelle’s passion for the industry puts her at the fore for spotting and developing talent. “Many people say I’m very intuitive and have an ability to always choose the right person for the job. I love to guide and encourage young actors and really take pride in the success that I see so many of them achieve”.

Sandy Kaye is well known in both television and radio circles where she freelances as a Producer/Presenter/Voiceover Artist on a host of different projects. From producing international documentaries to writing and voicing local Reality TV shows, she continues to work hard in the industry she loves and is certified as an accredited trainer which allows her to pass on skills to adult learners.
